When your baby is constipated and in pain, it can be difficult to try and figure out what to do. You’ll be bombarded with advice from all sides and one of the more common remedies is prune juice . . . baby constipation can be scary, but can you give prune juice to a baby?
It all depends on the age of the baby. From about three or four months, they should be able to handle it just fine. The biggest problem that you’ll face is having to get them to drink it . . . most babies will find it an odd flavor. Once they are older, there’s no difficulty because they have already had solid foods.
